View Your Mind is another mind mapping utility that allows you to create complex diagrams that would be difficult or impossible to represent on paper. It features the ability to tag elements in your drawings with keywords so that you can search large maps easily.

OpenOffice.org Draw
Another component of the OpenOffice.org suite, Draw is a tool for creating graphics and diagrams for use in other applications. Although it is not specifically a mind mapping or flowcharting application, it does feature smart connectors that allow you to create relations between objects.

QCad
QCad is a 2D computer aided design program that features and easy-to-use and intuitive user interface. Unlike other CAD applications, QCad does not require extensive training to use. QCad is a robust application, however, and it includes layers, blocks, a part library with over 4800 items, and other advanced features. It is available both as an Open Source community project and a commercial version for professionals.
