About the Site

Open Source Software for Educators is designed to serve as an introduction to the concept of Open Source Software and a gateway to common Open Source Applications for K-12 educators. Aaron Pickering originally created the site during Spring 2007 as a class project for Instructional Technology 578: Web Design for Teachers at the University of Tennessee.
